Ovigerous females are found practically throughout the year, the eggs laid around July are carried for about 9 months. The Norway lobster Nephrops norvegicus lives at low-light depths, in muddy substrata of high organic content where water salinities are high and fluctuations in temperature are moderate. Astacus norvegicus, Astacus rugosus, Cancer norvegicus, Homarus norvegicus, Nephropsis cornubiensis, Nephrops norvegicus meridionalis Nephrops norvegicus ( Linnaeus , 1758), conosciuto comunemente come scampo [2] , è un crostaceo decapode della famiglia Nephropidae ; è l'unica specie appartenente al genere Nephrops Leach, 1814 [3] .
